About The Band:

Jim Nunally has produced over 100 recordings for various artists from all over the world. He began teaching music workshops and camps starting in 1986. He's been a sought after teacher for bluegrass guitar, vocal instruction, and record production. He has performed on television soundtracks and movie soundtracks and continues to perform with David Grisman when he's not playing with the Nell & Jim Band.

Nell Robinson co-founded and ran the Take the Stage Workshop at the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley CA for 4 years, a popular band performance workshop. She has released four albums, including the Rose of No Man’s Land album which was produced by Joe Henry and features performances by Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, John Doe and author Maxine Hong Kingston; the show was filmed live for a PBS segment on Music Gone Public. Nell & Jim’s band also filmed a live segment for PBS.
